Raunie Ratcliffe
Owner/Operator
With more than 25 years in the lawn care and mosquito control industry, Raunie Ratcliffe brings a rare mix of hands-on experience, strong academic training, and genuine passion to Dr. Green. She holds an Honours Degree from Dalhousie University, a Teaching Degree from the University of Ottawa, and professional licensing in Mosquito/Biting Fly and Landscape Extermination from the University of Guelph. These credentials support Dr. Green’s long-standing reputation for safe, effective, environmentally responsible lawn care in Ontario.
Raunie has worked in every part of the family business and continues to stay ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to help homeowners protect and improve their outdoor spaces. When she’s not diagnosing lawn issues or refining service programs, you’ll usually find her tackling a DIY project or playing with her dog, Jarvis—both of which she insists are vital forms of “continuing education.”
Sarah
Office Manager and the Heart of Our Team
For nearly 20 years, Sarah has been the friendly face and voice keeping our office running smoothly. She knows our customers well, keeps everything organized, and somehow always has the answer to any question. Her dedication, humour, and steady, solutions-based mindset is seen and appreciated every day in her interactions with both customers and staff.
Sarah loves learning new skills, both personally and professionally, always looking for ways to grow and improve. Outside of work, she stays busy with her young family and enjoys getting outside for walks with her dog, Macie. Whether she’s managing the daily details in the office or tackling something new, Sarah is the kind of person who keeps everything (and everyone) on track—we’d be lost without her!
Chance
Production Manager
Now going into his third season with Dr. Green, Chance has proven himself in his role of Production Manager. Friendly, dedicated, and endlessly curious, he’s always eager to expand his knowledge—especially when it comes to grass (seriously, he finds it fascinating!). Whether he’s learning new techniques or fine-tuning
operations,
Chance brings a strong work ethic and a passion for growth to everything he does. When he’s not focused on lawns, he’s either hitting the slopes on his snowboard or spending time with his dog, Jax. With his enthusiasm and drive, Chance is well on his way to becoming a key leader in our team!
Dilsharan
Customer Care Specialist
With over three years of experience at Dr. Green, Dilsharan takes pride in assisting our customers in achieving lush, healthy lawns while also providing excellent customer support. For him, working in lawn care is the perfect balance between his love for greenery and his dedication to helping people. Whether answering customer questions, offering guidance, or ensuring top-notch service, we love to see Dilsharan’s dedication to making a positive impact with our customers but also providing valuable ideas and solutions that will continually improve how we do business.
Beyond work, Dilsharan is passionate about giving back through volunteer work, always looking for ways to support and uplift his community. He also shares a special love for gardening with his mother, spending time nurturing plants and creating beautiful, thriving spaces. When he’s not working or volunteering, you can find him at the gym, staying active, or enjoying the outdoors.
Tim
Sales Associate
Tim is heading into his third year with Dr. Green, and if there’s one thing he’s learned—it’s that grass is a lot more complicated than it looks! Committed to continuous learning, Tim has developed a keen interest in our services and products to ensure he provides the correct information right from the first conversation. He takes the time to understand each customer’s unique needs, offering solutions that truly make a difference in their lawn’s health.
Outside of work, Tim trades in turf talk for drumsticks, passionately slaying on the drums. When he’s not rocking out, he loves spending quality time with his family.
