Dr. Green – Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 2025

1. Service Continuity & Subscription Model

Dr. Green Services operates as a subscription-based company, meaning all services automatically continue from season to season unless canceled. You may modify or cancel your account at any time by contacting our Customer Care team at 1-877-374-7336.

Service Technicians cannot process cancellations or account changes in the field, as they do not have direct access to customer account information.

2. Payment Terms & Late Fees

All program and service fees must be paid according to the terms outlined in your invoice or promotional offer.

• Overdue Accounts: A 2% monthly interest charge will be applied to unpaid balances over 30 days past due. (Ontario residents only)
• Late Fees: A $25 late fee will be applied to accounts overdue by 90 days or more (Ontario residents only).
• Collections: Accounts with significantly overdue balances may be sent to collections or result in service suspension.

3. Promotional Offers & Free Services

Any promotional discounts or free services (e.g., a free lawn treatment) are conditional upon completing the full program. To qualify for discounts or free services, your program must be paid in full by the deadline specified in your promotional offer. If you cancel your service before the end of the season, you will be responsible for paying the standard cost of any free services already received.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Dr. Green provides refunds upon request; however, they will be issued on a prorated basis and subject to a 10% administration fee. Additionally, if you received any free services as part of your program, the value of those treatments will be deducted from your refund.

5. Service Guarantees & Limitations

We are committed to providing high-quality lawn care services and offer the following:

• Service Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with a treatment, we will reapply it at no additional charge.
• External Factors: Lawn results depend on proper customer maintenance, including watering, mowing, and environmental conditions.
• Pesticide Restrictions: We comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal pesticide regulations, which may affect the products we can use.

6. Liability & Property Damage

Dr. Green takes precautions to minimize any potential damage; however:

• We are not responsible for damage to invisible or improperly marked underground objects (e.g., sprinkler heads, utility lines).
• Any service-related concerns must be reported within 48 hours of treatment for proper investigation.
• Liability for any property damage is limited to the cost of the service provided.

7. Access to Property & Scheduling

To ensure timely service, customers must:

• Provide access to their property on scheduled service dates.
• Ensure that pets are indoors, gates are unlocked, and obstacles are removed.
• Understand that weather may affect scheduling; in such cases, services will be rescheduled at the next available date.

8. Pet & Environmental Safety

For the safety of your family and pets:

• Avoid foot traffic on treated areas for 24 hours (or as specified on service notes).
• Keep pets and children off the lawn until treatments are fully dry.
• Dr. Green follows environmentally responsible practices and uses products approved by Health Canada.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Dr. Green is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect and store customer information solely for service fulfillment, billing, and communication.

• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
• You may opt out of promotional emails or calls at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the province in which the service is provided and applicable federal Canadian laws.

• Customers agree to first attempt resolution through Dr. Green’s Customer Care team before pursuing legal action.
• If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be handled through mediation or arbitration, depending on provincial laws.
