Our journey began with our dad, Lou van Haastrecht, who started Dr. Green right here in 1985. Our mom, Lorraine, joined him in 1992, and together, they built the foundation of the trustworthy lawn maintenance company we are today. My brother, Lee, and I, Raunie, are the second generation to carry on that legacy, bringing decades of proven expertise to your property.

Lee Ratcliffe holds a Horticulture degree from the University of Guelph and full Alberta Pesticide Certification, ensuring our western operations are run with top-tier technical knowledge.

Raunie Ratcliffe has an honours degree from Dalhousie University and a teaching degree from the University of Ottawa, alongside her Ontario pesticide license for landscape and biting fly.
