Read ahead for some frequently asked questions concerning our new and improved mosquito and tick control. You asked, and we listened! We are now able to control BOTH of these pesky bugs ensuring a safe and enjoyable summer outdoors.

Q: How do you apply the products?

A: Our specially trained technicians use a fogging backpack to hit target zones throughout your property, such as wood piles, bushes, shrubs, and shaded areas. They will avoid areas such as flowering plants, fruit trees, and vegetable gardens to keep our pollinators safe.

Q: What products do you use in this application?

A: We use a product called Dragnet, approved by Health Canada to control mosquitoes and ticks. It is a synthetic form of the natural flower called the chrysanthemum

Q: Is it safe?

A: Absolutely. We practice IPM (Integrated Pest Management), and our technicians are specially trained by a licensed exterminator to ensure the product is applied safely and effectively.

Q: How does the tick control work?

A: The nests of mice and rodents are breeding areas for ticks. While the mice themselves are a member of our ecosystem, we are trying to eliminate them from being carriers of the pesky bug. Our Tick tubes are placed strategically throughout your property and effectively cause a barrier against an infestation.

Q: How many times do you come?

A: Our program is designed for us to come every 21 – 25 days to allow for protection all summer long

Q: Is there anything I can do to help reduce these bugs?

A: Yes! As in our lawn care programs, things always work better with combined efforts. Keeping your lawn cut at 2.5” and reducing any standing water throughout your property will reduce the natural breeding spots for these bugs.
